DEEP FRIED GREEN BEANS RECIPE
(The kind you get at national restaurant chains)
Servings: 6-8
1 pound green beans,
4 cups vegetable Shortening or Vegetable Oil for frying
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup water
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/4 teaspoon fine ground black pepper
4 oz Dinni’s Select Wasabi Sauce
Wash and pat dry Green Beans, cut both tips off. Then cut Green Beans into
4” to 5” length pieces.
Heat oil in deep fryer or in saucepan over medium-high heat to 350 F.
Combine flour, 3/4 cup water, eggs, baking powder, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and
pepper in bowl; whisk until smooth, add little more water if needed to keep
the batter on the thinner side.
Dip a handful of beans at a time into batter; shake off excess batter, make
sure it is a very thin coat. Add to hot oil and fry until golden brown to
light brown, about 5- 7 minutes per batch, transfer to paper towels to
drain. Sprinkle with more salt if needed and serve hot with a side of
Dinni’s Select Wasabi Sauce
